I teach a syllabus that is dedicated to learning techniques that will give you a good foundation in pottery. In a workshop we work on one specific technique\/project from start to finish in one block of time.<\/p>\n<p>All lessons are private, so it&#8217;s one on one. \u00a0When students are taught this way, they learn more quickly because the teacher&#8217;s attention is solely on the one student.<\/p>\n<p>*Students must wear a mask if they work closely with the public, or schools, or if they have been exposed to someone who is\/was sick. N95 masks double as a dust mask.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: revert;\">What type of classes are offered?<br \/>\n<\/strong>We begin with hand building, and then I will introduce you to the potter&#8217;s wheel. You will also receive lessons in decorating and glazing your pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Hand building techniques to begin your journey in pottery are essential to a well rounded clay education.\u00a0 Hand built forms include creating pottery using pinch pots, slabs and coils.<\/p>\n<p>Your introduction to the wheel begins with cylinders and then bowls.
